BAKERSFIELD, Calif., Justice Brothers, Inc. celebrates its sixteenth year in a row as the Reunion Spotlight sponsor at the 20th Annual NHRA California Hot Rod Reunion presented by Auto Club of Southern California at the Auto Club Famoso Raceway on Oct. 21-23, 2011.

Annually, the Justice Brothers Reunion Spotlight honors a group or individual who has contributed to the sport of hot rodding and or drag racing.  This year the spotlight will shine on one of the most iconic family names in hot rodding history-Chrisman. The Chrisman family has participated in all areas of the sport from Bonneville and drag racing, to hot rods and car shows. Art, Lloyd, Jack and their sons Mike and Steve will be honored with an impressive display of outstanding cars including Art’s #25 car (the first dragster to reach 140 MPH), Hustler 1 (the first to 180 and winner of the first March Meet), and other famous Chrisman cars.

In the ‘50s and ‘60s the Chrismans were to drag racing what the Andrettis and Unsers were to the Indy 500 and the Pettys to NASCAR,” said Museum Curator Greg Sharp. “Fortunately for all of us, many of the famous Chrisman race cars have been restored so that those too young to have seen them run in anger can appreciate their contribution to hot rodding history and older fans can remember the wondrous days of their youth.”

Make sure you visit the Justice Brothers Reunion Spotlight area behind the starting line grandstands and meet members of the Chrisman family and see some of these fantastic vehicles. You may even have the opportunity to pick up a copy of The Chrisman Legacy and have it autographed.

For the past 15 years Justice Brothers, Inc. has offered a FREE collectible poster and sticker to the spectators of this event. Throughout the years, these vibrant posters and stickers have depicted various hot rod scenes.

In addition to the sponsorship at the California Hot Rod Reunion Holley, Justice Brothers, Inc. sponsors the Reunion Spotlight at the Holley NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green, Ky.
