In addition to nearly 200 cars, the California Highway Patrol was on hand promoting safety and preserving the community interaction.
The twilight cruise’s emcee Dave McClelland presented awards for “The Best Gasser” trophy by Stick City to Nick Fry of Upland, California for his 1969 Camaro.
Tom Tucker from Tucker Tires, West Covina presented the “Bad Ass Tires & Wheels trophy to Michael Sciaraffa of San Gabriel. His ’61 Pontiac Ventura featured 8-lug wheel, yes, Bad-Ass!
The Automobile Club of Southern California “Most Uninsurable” award presented by Auto Club’s own Bob Beck went to Bill McCormick of West Covina and his ’31 Model A Roadster.
Evans Cooling’s Cruise pick went to Gary Barnard with his 1932 Ford 3-window.
Once again the Cruise Night’s cash prize totaled $500. August’s lucky winner pictured accepting the envelope!
Congratulations to all cruise night award winners! Those awarded honors at our monthly cruise nights will receive 2 full-event tickets and the opportunity to park their winning ride in the Hot Rod Junction, located just inside the spectator entrance at the 2017 Winternationals, in February here at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona.

The Museum general hours of operation are: Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Twilight Cruise night is 3-7 p.m. and parking opens at 2 p.m.
During the L.A. County Fair, Museum admission is only available with Fair admission and it is 50% off our normal admission price.
All Museum and NHRA Members are always free.
