Dave Hough, Nanook
Dave Hough is the creator and original driver of Nanook Fuel Altered. The Nanook Fuel Altered has also been featured in events on an international basis of the US, Canada, and England. Dave has a long history in the Fuel Altered community and is responsible for organizing many of the events across the US. Current driver of this Fuel Altered is Kyle Hough, a 3rd generation Fuel Altered driver, preceded by his father and grandfather.
Rich Guasco, Pure Hell
Rich Guasco is best known for the notorious Pure Hell Fuel Altered. His resume begins in the early 60’s where he was both driver and builder of dragsters in the early days. An accident in 1964 cut short and delayed his driving career. Rich then constructed the Pure Hell Fuel Altered which has excited audiences in the US, Canada, and England. The current driver of Pure Hell is Brian Hope and he is preceded by a number of famous drivers.
Randy Bradford, Bradford’s Fiat
Randy Bradford was not only the original driver of Bradford’s Fiat, he was also the current driver. His interruption of driving this car was during the Vietnam War, when he served our country with a tour in Vietnam. Like the three other cars which have been mentioned, Bradford’s Fiat has also been admired by fans in the US, Canada, England, and Germany. Bradford’s Fiat was also part of the famous Fuel Altered tours across the US and Canada during the 60’s and 70’s.
Leon Fitzgerald, Pure Heaven
Leon Fitzgerald is the creator and original driver of Pure Heaven. Leon, along with his partner, R.T. Reed were known throughout southern California at Fuel Altered events in the area. They were also known coast-to-coast as one of the touring Fuel Altereds of the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. Leon’s car has been featured also at events in the US, Canada, and England.
